Dear Fellow Members:

I hope this letter finds you all enjoying the warmer weather and spring flowers. As we move forward with the construction of our club's new facilities, I wanted to update you on the latest developments.

Firstly, I am pleased to inform you that the construction work is progressing smoothly and is currently on schedule once the construction permits were obtained and work could begin. The foundation work is almost completed, and the framework for the new building will begin soon. The construction team is working diligently to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated time and with the highest standards of quality.

The construction team has been making every effort to minimize disruptions to the club's activities during construction. However, some temporary inconveniences are inevitable, and we appreciate your patience and understanding in this regard.

The good news is that the pool will be open and heated on Memorial Day Weekend as scheduled! There will be bathroom trailers, but no showers. Showers are available at the marina during operating hours.  Portions of the pool deck will be closed off due to construction areas and access to the pool will be relocated from the rear parking area.  Detailed info will be provided prior to Memorial Day weekend.

The Bay View Room and Calamari Bar will remain open throughout the summer. We have yet to determine when the Squid Bar and Snack Bars will be open, but we will have casual food and beverage services available. We will have more information during the next several weeks as construction progresses.

We will have limited parking throughout the summer. A parking plan will be presented before Memorial Day weekend.

We are committed to keeping our members informed about the progress of the construction work. Regular updates will be posted in our weekly QuickNotes communications. Members can also contact Greg or board members for any specific queries or concerns.

In conclusion, I want to thank all our members for their continued support and patience during this exciting phase of our club's growth. We look forward to welcoming you to the new and improved facilities once the construction is completed.

Sincerely,
Beth Copeland - Commodore
